# 1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using L2 Afterwork website and game services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
# 2. Description of Service
L2 Afterwork provides a Lineage 2 private game server and associated web services, including account management, game account creation, and server information.
# 3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must not share your account with others
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- Each user may create a limited number of game accounts as specified in their profile
# 4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use bots, hacks, exploits, or any unauthorized third-party software
- Exploit bugs or glitches in the game server
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other players
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Sell, trade, or transfer accounts or in-game items for real money
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Disrupt the normal operation of the server or website
- Manipulate votes for the server — voting through proxies, VPNs or several addresses to collect the reward more than once, or automating votes in any way
# 5. Intellectual Property
Lineage 2 is a registered trademark of NCSOFT Corporation. L2 Afterwork is a fan-operated private server and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NCSOFT.
All original content on this website, including design, text, and code, is the property of L2 Afterwork.
# 6. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service. Reasons for suspension include, but are not limited to:
- Using prohibited software or exploits
- Abusive behavior toward other players or staff
- Fraudulent activity
- Multiple violations of server rules
# 7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain continuous server uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The server may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
# 8. Limitation of Liability
L2 Afterwork is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, progress, items, or any other damages arising from the use of our services.
# 9. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use your personal data.
# 10. Donations
Contributions made through L2 Afterwork are voluntary donations toward running the project, not purchases of goods, services, or subscriptions. By donating you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- A donation is a voluntary contribution. Nothing is being sold and no commercial transaction takes place.
- The in-game reward credited to your account (Coins of Luck, items, bonus percentages, etc.) is a symbolic thank-you, not a product you are buying.
- All rewards are also obtainable through regular gameplay — donations do not unlock exclusive power.
- Coins of Luck and in-game items have no monetary value outside the server. They cannot be converted to real money, exchanged for other currencies, or cashed out.
- Trading, selling or transferring in-game items or currency between players in exchange for real money is prohibited and will result in account suspension.
- The server may adjust the exchange rate of Coins of Luck, the catalogue of items, and the structure of the accumulated bonus at any time.
- Donations are final and non-refundable once the thank-you reward has been credited, with narrow exceptions listed in the Refund Policy.
- You must be at least 18 years old to make a donation.
# 11. Vote Rewards
Voting for the server happens on third-party ranking sites, not on ours, and each of them runs under its own rules and privacy policy. We pay a reward in game, but whether a vote exists is decided by the site. By claiming a vote reward you acknowledge:
- The reward is issued only when the ranking site confirms a vote. We cannot change, override or reconstruct that answer.
- Sites that identify a voter by IP address require you to vote from the same connection you play from. Mobile data, another network, or a VPN or proxy in the browser makes the site record the vote under a different address, and the game will not find it — even though the site shows you as having voted.
- A reward tied to an address is issued once per site per cooldown for that address, no matter how many accounts or characters share it.
- Vote rewards are a free bonus, not a purchase and not a guaranteed part of the service. We may change the reward, the list of sites and the cooldown at any time.
- Manipulating votes voids the rewards obtained that way and may lead to suspension under section 4.
The mechanics, the current list of sites and the usual reasons a vote is not found are described on the voting page. If you believe a confirmed vote was not rewarded, write to support from the email your account is registered to and we will check the log for that account.
# 12. Your Actions in the Game and Support
We value every player, and that is why the rules below are the same for everyone — including those who have supported the project with a donation.
- Your character's actions are taken by you, and you are responsible for them: choosing a profession, adding or removing a subclass, selling, deleting or enchanting items, losing experience and every other in-game decision. Read the description of an irreversible action before you take it.
- We do not reverse or compensate for the consequences of a player's own actions, including mistaken or accidental ones. At a player's request the staff make no manual changes to a character: we do not roll back characters, change the profession or subclasses, or grant or restore levels, experience, SP, items, Adena or Coin of Luck. Whatever the game offers a service for, including the paid Community Board services, the player does themselves.
- The staff step in when the cause lies with the server: a bug, a failure, or an in-game service that did not work as its description says — it replaced the wrong class, did not work at all, or took the payment without a result. In such cases we restore the character's state or refund the payment; the way and extent of the remedy are decided by the staff.
- A service's description in the game and in the wiki is how that service works. If it worked exactly as described but you expected something else, that is not a failure and no compensation is due. Decisions are based on the server logs, which are final: if they show that the player took the action themselves, the request is closed.
- Bugs, failures and character problems are handled through support tickets in your account, where we can check the server logs and nothing gets lost. Billing questions, data-protection requests and account access problems may also be sent by email. Private messages to the staff on Telegram, Discord or in the game are acceptable for something urgent or a quick clarification, but they are not a support channel: a reply there is not guaranteed, and a problem is still handled through a ticket.
- The staff never sell items, levels, stats or any other in-game advantage outside the official donations and never offer anything in private messages. Anyone making such an offer on the staff's behalf is a scammer — please report them. Requests to sell anything outside the official donations are left without a reply.
- Deals between players are a private arrangement between the parties. The staff do not guarantee them, do not act as intermediaries, do not settle disputes and do not reverse the outcome: we do not return items, Adena or Coin of Luck given, sold or spent for such a deal, including when the other party changed their mind, broke a promise or deceived you. This covers the trade window, private stores (including a wrong price or quantity), items lent to another player, loot distribution in a party, command channel or clan, and the clan warehouse. The only guarantee of a deal is the trade window: check its contents before you confirm, and do not hand over or craft anything on a verbal promise. Sanctions for a scam apply only when it breaks a rule of section 4, such as exploiting bugs or real-money trading.
- Threats to quit the game, demands and pressure do not affect the staff's decisions. Insulting the staff is grounds for suspension under section 6.
# 13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will post the updated terms on this page with a revised date.
