# Vote

Three sites, each lets you vote once every 12 hours. The buttons below go straight to the voting page for L2 After Work. L2Network.eu uses a personal link — it has your game account's ID baked in, so the button appears only after signing in on the site and linking a game account; HopZone.net and L2Votes.com identify your vote by IP address and work right away, without signing in.

The reward is granted by the game, not the site: after voting, log in to the game, type .vote and press the button for the same site.
For HopZone.net and L2Votes.com, vote from the same internet connection you play from: they identify a vote only by IP address. Mobile data, a work Wi-Fi, or a VPN/proxy in the browser won't work: the site will record the vote under a different address and the game won't find it, even though the site itself will show "you already voted".
If several game accounts are linked to your profile, take the link and claim the reward on the same one: the vote is credited to the account whose ID was in the link. The selected account is shown right above the buttons.
The site banners in the footer are ranking links. A vote through the HopZone.net banner counts as a normal one — that site goes by IP. The L2Network.eu banner, though, links without an ID: that vote boosts our ranking, but the server most likely won't find a reward for it — get the link here or in-game via .vote instead.

# Vote reward

Every vote guarantees a Silver Shilen , 1 to 40 pieces, and one rune — random from five, a 20% chance for each. The Coin of Luck doesn’t always drop — a 30% chance, 1 to 20 pieces. The currency is the same on every platform, but each has its own set of runes.

Coins of Luck and Silver Shilen are the same on every platform, but the runes differ for each — all the more reason to vote on all three.
Exactly one rune from your platform’s set arrives, and which one is decided by chance, a 20% chance for each.
Identical bonuses from different runes don’t stack: the strongest one is active, and when it expires the next one kicks in. Two experience-and-SP runes received back to back don’t add up — you get the larger of the two.
A rune's timer starts from the moment you receive it, not from first use, and keeps running after you log out. You can't stockpile them between votes — claim a rune when you're about to play.
Runes cannot be traded, dropped, or sold.
Items drop to whichever character is in game at the moment you claim the reward.
If your inventory is full, the reward drops on the ground at your feet — clear some space beforehand.

# How to claim the reward

Voting on a site and claiming the reward in-game are two separate actions. The site only records that you voted; the game server grants the items once you come and claim them yourself.

The reward can only be claimed in-game: the site gives you a link, and the game server grants the items via the .vote command.
The button didn't work right after voting — wait half a minute and try again: the site needs time to record the vote. The server keeps a 10-second pause between two clicks, and very frequent clicks may simply be ignored.
If the HopZone.net or L2Votes.com button still opens the voting page again after that, the site can't see a vote from the address you're playing from — most often this means a VPN or proxy is enabled in your browser.
In the .vote window, each button shows when the next vote is available, and if the reward for your address has already been claimed, it shows "reward for this IP already received". Chat messages name the site: "reward for voting on HopZone.net already received, next vote in …", "vote on L2Votes.com not found…" — so you can immediately tell which button is meant.

# Where to vote

Three sites are currently enabled. Buttons for all three are gathered above, in the «Vote» section.

The 12 hours are tracked separately on each site, so you can collect three rewards in one sitting.
The reward from a single IP address is one per site every 12 hours, regardless of the account or character used: if two people play from the same home, those 12 hours are shared between them across all three sites. On L2Network.eu the game account is also counted: a different character on the same account won't get the reward a second time, even from another address.
If the reward for your address has already been claimed, the game will tell you exactly which character received it, at what time (server time), and when the next one is available.
The list of sites in the «Vote» section is always up to date: a disabled site either disappears from it or is marked as temporarily unavailable.

# Why vote

Votes push the server up in the ratings — that's exactly how new players find us. The higher the server sits in the list, the more people come: livelier parties, faster raids, busier epics and sieges. A vote costs nothing and takes a minute, and we hand out the reward right away in game.
