About L2 Afterwork — a Lineage 2 server for working adults

L2 Afterwork is a Lineage 2 High Five private server built around one simple idea: grown-ups deserve a fair, comfortable Lineage 2 too. No 24/7 grind requirement and nothing locked behind a donation: everything in the shop is bought with Coin of Luck, and Coin of Luck drops in the game. Just classic L2 with the rough edges sanded down so you can actually enjoy it after work.

# Who L2 Afterwork is for

You played Lineage 2 in 2008 with your university friends. You loved it. Then life happened — a job, a family, a mortgage. You don't have ten hours a day to grind anymore, and modern donate-driven private servers feel like a slot machine. We get it. We're you.

This server is for you if:

  • You work eight or more hours a day and play Lineage 2 in the evening, not instead of life.
  • You value honest progress over a credit card.
  • You miss classic High Five but not the part where you had to no-life it.
  • You want a balanced server with full content, not a dumbed-down one with broken rates.
  • You prefer a calm, mature community over teenage drama.

# How autofarm gives you your evenings back

Autofarm is a server-side system, not a bot or a third-party program: your character picks targets, uses your skills and heals by your rules. It takes the routine grind off your hands — the game client just has to stay running — so in the evening you can focus on the parts of Lineage 2 that actually matter: raids, sieges, olympiad, PvP and hanging out with your clan.

  • Four hours a day are free for everyone, no premium needed. The counter resets at 06:30 server time.
  • Need more? Buy extra time right in the autofarm window with Coin of Luck — 1, 3, 6 or 12 hours at a time, added to whatever you have left.
  • One active autofarm per computer (HWID), so nobody runs a bot army to outpace you. A second slot can be unlocked for Adena with the .expendLimit command until the next restart.
  • Won't start and switches itself off in PvP zones, at sieges and during combat events, so PvP stays fair.
  • The timer only runs while autofarm is switched on — turn it off and the clock stops.

# Coin of Luck: earned by playing, not only by donating

Coin of Luck (CoL) is the server's premium currency: the donation shop in the Community Board, the premium account and extra autofarm hours are all paid for with it. CoL drops in the game itself, so 100% of the donation shop is within reach without spending a single cent.

A server can't run on enthusiasm alone — hosting, infrastructure and new content cost real money. So we built a fair balance: players with time farm CoL through gameplay, and players who want to support the project can donate and receive the same CoL as a thank-you.

Ways to earn Coin of Luck in-game:

  • PvP Farm Zone — 1 CoL for every player kill, 3 CoL for the top killer, and the zone monsters drop CoL too. Six runs a day.
  • Leprechaun — a world event every hour: whoever finds him gets 2,000,000 Adena and a 50% chance at 10 CoL.
  • Olympiad — every win pays Silver Shilen plus a 50% chance at 1 CoL.
  • Voting for the server — every 12 hours on each of three rating sites, with a 30% chance at 1–20 CoL per vote.
  • Achievements — the final levels of Farmer, Raid Slayer and other achievement ladders pay out 1,000 CoL.
  • Clan wars and forts — a 10% chance at 1 CoL for every kill of an enemy clan member, and 50 CoL for capturing Antharas Fort.

Buffs don't require a donation either. The Community Board buffer takes Adena and is free up to level 40, support players sell their buffs to everyone, and buff pets from the shop follow your own level: Prophecy of Wind or Chant of Victory only arrive once you reach level 78 yourself — just as they would for a Prophet or Warcryer.

Premium speeds up what you already do: x1.5 EXP and SP, x1.3 Adena, drop and spoil, +50% weight limit, +10 to craft chance and +5 to enchant chance, and Community Board buffs last 3 hours instead of 2. Days are paid with CoL, short 4- and 10-hour packages with Buddy Coins from the PC Bang shop, which you get just for time in-game — and you never have to buy it.

# What's inside the server

Everything is documented. Pick a topic — every detail of the server is on the wiki.

  • Server rates: Dynamic EXP by character level: x5 at levels 1–19, then x4, x3 and x2, and x1 from level 80 so the last levels stay meaningful. SP x3 until level 80, then x2; raid bosses give x3 EXP and SP at any level. Adena, drop and spoil x2.5, raid and epic boss drops and herbs x2. Details →
  • Custom events: Last Hero, Team vs Team, Treasure Hunt and PvP Farm Zone run on a schedule around the clock, the Leprechaun appears every hour, and the Heavy Medal event never stops. Details →
  • Raid and epic bosses: Epic bosses except Beleth on a fixed weekday in a 19:00–23:00 window, PvP zones around the lairs from 30 minutes before a spawn, reduced debuff chance on bosses and per-clan damage stats. Details →
  • Grand Olympiad: Weekly cycle with main fights on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 17:00 to 00:00 and daily training fights from 12:00 to 16:00. Silver Shilen for every fight and a chance at CoL for wins, three daily quests, and hero jewelry three times more likely in the chest. Details →
  • Community Board (Alt+B): A buffer with 80+ buffs, 6 ready-made sets and personal schemes, teleport by coordinates, to your saved spot and to live raid bosses, buff selling and character services. The buffer and teleport cost Adena and are free up to level 40. Details →
  • Quality of life: Offline trade and craft, up to 4 windows per computer, 120-second disconnect protection, 150 inventory slots (200 for dwarves) plus an extra inventory, double run speed in towns, server-side ACP and a long list of small fixes. Details →

# Why we built this server

L2 Afterwork started as a private server for a few of us — old guildmates from 2009 who wanted to play Lineage 2 again without the modern private-server pathologies. No donate-locked gear. No 24/7 grind requirement. No toxic teen drama. We loved playing on it so much that we decided to open it up. If you found us, you're probably in our target audience. Welcome.

# Fair rules, the same for everyone

We value every player — and that is exactly why the rules here don't bend for anyone. A server where the staff hand out rollbacks, class changes and levels on request soon becomes a server where whoever complains loudest gets ahead, and the staff have no time left for the game itself. So we keep it simple:

  • Your character, your choices. We don't roll back characters, change professions or subclasses by hand, or restore levels, items and experience lost by a player's own mistake — for anyone, donors included. The wiki describes every system, so read before you click something irreversible.
  • A bug or a broken service is our job. If a service did not work the way its description says — replaced the wrong class, did nothing, or took the payment without a result — open a ticket: we check the server logs and put things right or refund the payment.
  • The description is the deal. If a service did exactly what its description says but you expected something else, that is not a failure, and there is no compensation.
  • Support lives in tickets. Every bug and broken service goes through a ticket: it reaches us faster and doesn't get lost. A private message to the staff on Telegram, Discord or in the game is fine for something urgent or a quick question, but it doesn't replace a ticket.
  • No under-the-table deals. The staff never sell anything outside the official donations and never offer anything in private messages. Anyone who does is a scammer.
  • Deals between players are your own business. We don't guarantee them, settle disputes or return what was given, sold or crafted for a deal, even if the other side broke a promise. The trade window is the only guarantee: check it before you confirm, and don't hand over or craft anything on a verbal promise.

By playing on L2 Afterwork you accept these rules: they are part of the User Agreement shown when you enter the game and of our Terms of Service.
